As we heal our trauma we realise that it is an on going process. As life events pass by we can keep learning. Thankfully as we process trauma the learnings can become less about the emotion and more about the philosophical.
I am noticing a deepening sense of safety in my work. The safer we feel the more we can dare.
You’ll know this because every time you don’t want to do something you will feel uncomfortable. It could be anxiety, shame, anger, etc. the point is when we feel calm we can consider new horizons.
How safe does your body feel? If there are tingling, if there is heat or other sensations then the chances are you are not feeling safe.
To find out, raise your consciousness. Ask yourself, what is this tension about? What are these sensations about? And with that you may see images, or learn of thoughts..
